Privacy
Introduction
ChannelMojo (hereinafter "we") processes personal data of its clients, prospects and other contacts. We do this in order to best serve our clients and achieve our goals. In this privacy statement, we explain why and how we process your personal data. We do not have a Data Protection Officer (FG), but we are happy to help you with your questions. For this you can contact us at info@channelmojo.com or +31 85 0805937.
Who are we?
We are ChannelMojo: Marketplace agency in Amsterdam. This privacy statement covers all our processing operations - even if we process personal data together with other parties (for example, in the case of a mailing campaign). We are located at Paulus Potterstraat, 1071 DB in Amsterdam.
What personal data do we process?
We process the following personal data: First and last name, address, place of residence, phone number, gender, email address, payment details, areas of interest (e.g. 'legal' or 'search'), job title, photos, contact history, IP address, social ID, cookie ID (you can read more about cookies in our cookie policy) and surfing behavior.
Why do we process personal data?
We process personal data for the purposes listed below.
Legal obligations
A small part of our processing is required by law. This mainly involves personal data needed to meet our tax obligations. But we may also process personal data in the event of calamities at ChannelMojo, for example. We also collect personal data from employees in order, for example, to conclude a contract and to arrange payroll administration.
Customer administration and services
In our customer administration we keep track of which companies are ChannelMojo clients and which companies have been ChannelMojo clients. Of the contacts, we keep personal information, such as contact details, to be able to reach you. We also keep minutes of any discussions in our tools. These minutes may contain personal data. We communicate with our clients through various channels, for example, by phone, via email and via Slack. To make that possible, we also process personal data.
Newsletters and mailings
To keep companies informed about important developments in the industry, we occasionally send a mailing. Sometimes this is personalized and sometimes not. If you no longer wish to receive a mailing you can always unsubscribe from the mail message.
Reviews and quotes
To make an offer or review, we process personal data such as contact information.
Marketing
We obviously want to flex our muscles and acquire new customers. Our most trusted channel to accomplish this is online marketing. To get in touch with potential customers and to maintain this contact, we process personal data.
For ChannelMojo's campaigns, we process personal data, such as your IP address, cookie ID, social ID and/or your browsing habits. We only do this when you give us permission through our cookie notification. The purpose is to show you relevant ads at the right time and place.
We cannot see who you are or what company you work for unless you provide this information, for example, to conduct a Google AdWords review.
We also use so-called custom audiences on various social media. This means, for example, that we recognize that you have been on our website. We then send a super relevant ad via a medium such as Facebook or LinkedIn. We never pass on personal data to third parties for this purpose when you opt-out in our cookie notification. By the way, re-targeting website visitors is called remarketing 😉
If you do not want to see these your ads from ChannelMojo on the ChannelMojo and LinkedIn platforms, you can opt out of this using the links below:

LinkedIn unsubscribe custom audiences
It is possible that after unsubscribing you will still see an ad from ChannelMojo. This is the case when you are in the general audience we target our ads to. The target group we try to focus on are DMUs and marketing staff of ambitious and high-growth companies.
Improving our website
To increase the conversion rate of our website, we process personal data. For example, we process click behavior and the anonymized IP address. This way we can see which pages, pieces of text and images you find strong and which we need to improve. This is how we increase the efficiency of our website.
